APPOINTMENT INFORMATION:
New Patient Appointments:
First office visits range between 1.5 to 2 hours long. During this visit, Dr. French will take a detailed medical history and perform any necessary physical exams. The length of this visit allows you to have ample time to discuss your health concerns and enables Dr. French to better understand you and your particular health condition on an individual basis.
After this consultation, Dr. French will create a treatment plan custom tailored to your needs. Previous records or labwork may be requested by the doctor and/or additional labwork may be suggested, depending on your health concerns and medical history.
Please bring the completed new patient paperwork to your first visit. You can download these forms from the website or call the office to request that they be mailed to you. In addition, please bring any copies of recent labwork to the appointment, as well as any supplements and a list of medications, including dosages, you are currently taking.
Follow up visits are typically scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment, and range between 30 and 60 minutes. During these appointments we evaluate the effectiveness of your current treatment plan and make any necessary modifications. The frequency of additional follow-up visits depends on the severity and complexity of your condition
Dr. French encourages anyone who is considering becoming a new patient to schedule a 15 minute free consultation, in person or over the phone. This short appointment allows prospective patients to meet the doctor and learn more about what naturopathic medicine has to offer them.

Payment:
Payment is expected upon services rendered. Giving Tree Natural Health accepts cash and personal checks.
Cancellation policy:
We all have circumstances come up occasionally that make it difficult to keep appointments. With that in mind, we are happy to accept cancellations or postponements 24 hours in advance. There is no charge if an appointment is cancelled with 24 hours notice. There is a $50 charge for new patient cancellations and a $25 charge for follow-up appointment cancellations that are made with less than 24 hours notice.
Insurance:
Giving Tree Natural Health does not bill insurance directly. However, your insurance company may reimburse you for the services of a Naturopathic Doctor. Following your visit, you will be provided with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company to attempt reimbursement.
If you would like to check with your insurance company about coverage, let them know that Dr. French is a primary care doctor in the State of New Hampshire, but is considered “out-of-network.” Many insurance policies provide for out-of-network benefits. Additionally, you should ask if your plan covers Naturopathic Doctors.
