Dr. Margaux French earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Becoming a naturopathic doctor was the ultimate culmination of her life-long interest in understanding how the body works and how to optimize health on an individual basis.  Dr. French completed her undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.  Her academic interests included studying cultural ideas about health and wellness and religious and philosophical perceptions about what creates and sustains health. As part of her studies, she traveled to India and Nepal, where she researched Tibetan medicine.

In addition to her required coursework and clinical education, Dr. French has pursued additional training in classical homeopathy with the New England School of Homeopathy.  Homeopathic medicine is one of her passions, as she finds it to be a highly effective tool for helping people achieve lasting health.  Her other clinical interests include helping people achieve a healthy diet and lifestyle, the art of using herbs to restore health, pediatric medicine, women’s health, and holistic animal care.

Dr. French is licensed in the state of New Hampshire.  She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. French practices as a naturopathic family doctor and sees patients of all ages.  She is particularly interested in the treatment of digestive disorders, autoimmune diseases, pediatric and adolescent medicine, women’s health, disorders that have previously not responded to conventional treatment, and natural and effective approaches to weight loss.  When she is not helping people improve their health, Dr. French enjoys riding horses, cooking, spending time with her family and animals, and traveling.
